Honoring our Roots, Building the Future, Advancing Global Ghanaian Impact
GRASAG-USA prioritizes the academic and career development of its members. In line with this mission, the association launched the annual GRASAG-USA Congress in 2024.
This flagship event has quickly become a cornerstone of our academic and professional programming, offering Ghanaian graduate students in the USA a platform to share knowledge, build networks, and strengthen community.
The Congress provides opportunities for students to present their research, receive constructive feedback, and collaborate with fellow scholars across disciplines.
Beyond academic presentations, the event fosters belonging by bringing together Ghanaian students, faculty, and leaders in higher education to celebrate shared identity and achievement.
Since its inception, the association has reviewed over 300 abstracts, hosted participants from more than 70 institutions across the United States, and honored distinguished leaders in higher education as keynote speakers.
The Congress embodies our mission to empower Ghanaian graduate students through scholarship, mentorship, and community. It is both a celebration of academic excellence and a testament to the strength of our collective voice.
